Accessibility
We want pricetickers.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control or keyboard-only navigation.
Our goal
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with headings, landmarks and labeled form fields.
- Keyboard access to navigation, search and controls, with visible focus indicators.
- Sufficient color contrast in light and dark mode; price changes are not shown by color alone but also by sign (+/−) and text.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; key figures of price charts (current value and changes) are also shown as text.
- Layouts that adapt to zoom up to 200% and to small screens.
Known limitations
Interactive price charts are visual by nature; screen reader users may not be able to explore every individual data point. The underlying data is available as text on the page and through our JSON API. Product titles and images come from Amazon and eBay; we cannot always guarantee meaningful image descriptions for them.
Feedback and reporting barriers
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on PriceTickers, or need information in a different format, please email us at [email protected]. Please tell us the page address (URL), the problem you experienced and the assistive technology you use, if any. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
